Design Solution

The clients outdoor space was situated on a heavily wooded parcel, so we strategically selected trees to be removed that were causing the area to have dense shade coverage. The key was to excavate the slope and create a retaining wall that would set the boundaries for an expansive flat surface on which to place the pool and patio. We incorporated the design of a stream by creating a water feature to feed the pool giving the outdoor space the look and sound of nature. The final design piece was adding a fire pit utilizing a natural Adirondack granite for an intimate social gathering place.
